TIGERS READY TO MARCH IN MARCH!
After another stellar finish to the regular season, finishing just 2nd behind Duke in the ACC, Brad Brownell has his Tigers marching! It should be easy sledding for Clemson in the First Round of the Tournament, favored by as much as 7.5 on the spread against McNeese State.
Though it will still be a tough task because we all know anything can happen come tournament time. Led by veterans Ian Schieffelin (F) and Chase Hunter (G), Clemson has the opportunity to write history all over again. Making it to the Elite 8 last year was quite impressive for some of these guys, but making it further than that this year would be icing on the cake.
Avoiding the Trap Game
A flashback to the Louisville game reminds us that Clemson had way too many defensive mistakes that need to be tightened up in this next matchup. McNeese State could easily be a trap game for the Tigers if they don’t adjust and overcome any downfalls.
Turnovers can’t happen—and that’s in any game. The consequences? Well, just see the Louisville game. Clemson must pin their ears back and get after it to avoid a first-round upset.
