Double Destiny? Clemson Eyes Championships in Football and Baseball

SUCH A TIME AS THIS!!!

IBO AND CLEMSON FAMILY

Can Clemson make the College Baseball World Series—and another National Championship in Football?

So you’re saying there’s a chance? Even better — this is the best chance we’ve ever had to do what only Florida has done: win two national championships in two of the three major collegiate sports (Football, Basketball, Baseball) in the same year.

This 2025 Clemson Football 🏈 team, in my opinion, has the best shot at a national championship since the legendary 2017–18 season — when “Sunshine,” aka Trevor Lawrence, had the full support of a team built for greatness. But I’m here to tell you: this 2025 Clemson team is more talented than any team in Clemson Football history to start a season — bar none.

Not only is the talent elite, but the coaching staff has been upgraded. New Defensive Coordinator Tom Allen brings toughness and discipline, while the addition of Clemson legend Ben Boulware as linebackers coach adds championship DNA to the locker room. Boulware, a member of the 2016 National Championship team, famously shouted, “It’s been 35 YEARS — 35 YEARS!!” on national TV after ending the title drought. I was there in 1981 for our first, and I haven’t felt this kind of magic in the air since.

This year feels different. The stars are aligned. This is the perfect storm — the perfect combination of leadership, talent, and momentum to win it all. I don’t have the time or space to explain it all — just trust me. This team is stacked on both the player and coaching sides like never before.

Now Let’s Talk Baseball ⚾️

Clemson Head Coach Erik Bakich just wins — plain and simple.

As the Tigers fight for a Top 8 national seed, they hit a critical stretch with a road trip to Tallahassee to face the Seminoles. Yes, they’re coming off a tough sweep at the hands of NC State, but Omaha remains the goal.

Last summer, Bakich and the Tigers got one step closer, falling in the Super Regionals to Florida. Now in his third season, the big question remains: Can this team reach Omaha? The Tigers are on track for a third straight postseason and are hungry to return to the College World Series for the first time since 2010.

Bakich has built a solid foundation. A trip to Omaha would solidify his legacy and elevate Clemson Baseball to the next level.

Such a time as this. Such a time as this. Clemson Football and Clemson Baseball ⚾️ have never looked more promising at the same time in the same season. Get your popcorn ready. Sit back. Keep the faith in your Tigers — the best is yet to come!
