Clemson secures top-rated RB and QB duo, first commits of 2025 class

Yesterday Clemson got some great news, as 2025 4⭐️ RB Gideon Davidson announced his commitment to Clemson. This is a great pickup for the Tigers, as they secured a commit from 2024 RB David Eziomume earlier in the year. With the success we’ve seen from Will Shipley so far, being coached by former Clemson RB legend CJ Spiller, can the Tigers produce the same NFL talent in both Davidson and Eziomume?

With Davidson being a 2025 commit, this obviously won’t have any effect on Clemson’s recruiting rank for the 2024 class. However, it does say a lot about the type of environment that is being produced at Clemson year after year. In our previous article, we touched on the family vibe that is created at the University, so it leaves us to wonder will this family bond be strong enough for a National Championship in these upcoming seasons?

The second commitment of the week was 4-star QB Blake Hebert out of Massachusetts. He is ranked as the #1 QB in Massachusetts and the #6 overall QB of the 2025 class.

It’s no secret that Clemson had produced top talent at the QB position year after year, from Deshaun Watson, Tajh Boyd, Trevor Lawrence, and many more. In recent years these names have not only led a successful football team, but some have done enough to help the Tigers in getting national championship victories.

Clemson has undoubtedly been on a roll as of late with commitments from top recruits in the nation. We expect to see more come rolling in this summer as things pick up for the football season. The Tigers are definitely gearing up to be a successful team in the upcoming years, but they know best that elite players aren’t enough to win it all.
