Clemson ranks No. 9 on the AP Top 25, just under FSU

As Opening Day Kickoff gets closer and closer, Tiger fans everywhere are screaming at their screens over the Preseason AP Poll. Clemson ranked in at No. 9, with the Seminoles above them at No. 8. With this being the expected matchup of the ACC Championship Game this year, how do the Tigers plan to prove themselves in overtaking the Seminoles this season?

Poll votes aside, the Tigers have been hard at work, as sources say practices and scrimmages have looked very good. They’ve got a chip on their shoulder from last year, and sure, they won the ACC, but there isn’t much of the ACC anymore! With Clemson being a constant National Championship contender the past years, they took last season exactly as they should have with a vengeance. It won’t take much for these Tigers to win it all, as Florida State hasn’t been an issue for a few years, and Georgia thinks life is a cakewalk right now. The question right now is: Will injuries be a factor this season? Or will the Tiger’s locker room remain healthy throughout?

One key injury player missing from last year was Xavier Thomas. With him being back on the defensive line and a few other explosive linemen, will Clemson come out with the best defensive line in College Football? Right now, the Tigers are receiving a lot of hate. They had one mediocre season, making everyone think our names were the Gamecocks. All that matters is Dabo is working, those Tigers are working, and anyone who says differently can catch us in Death Valley!
