Clemson Basketball - March Madness Is Upon Us!
What a crazy basketball season! Clemson beat mighty Duke this year at Littlejohn. Clemson got locked out of the locker room at the Spectrum Center last in Charlotte in the ACC semifinals, and 99% of non-biased college basketball 🏀 fans would agree that the no-foul call against Chase Hunter’s shot with 4.8 seconds left was an absolute tragedy against the integrity of officiating in college sports—and sports in general.
This is not rocket science, but in sports, it’s gotten so flagrant and inexcusable that something needs to be done. Referees, we have cameras, instant replay, and technology to get it right. No more excuses.
March Madness Is Here!
Wofford is in the Big Dance 🕺 and shouldn't be in—except they won the SoCon Tournament. But that’s what March Madness is all about! Wofford is less than two miles from my house, and they made the Sweet 16 a little over 10 years ago.
March Madness is a code name for miracles. Anything can happen. That’s what happened last year when the last-ranked team beat the number-one team in America. And hey, little old Wofford College can reach the Sweet 16.
The Greatest Run in Sports History
Speaking of miracles, the greatest run in sports history happened in 1983 with Jim Valvano and NC State. They were underdogs, but they went on to take down the real Goliath—the University of Houston’s Phi Slama Jama—to win the National Championship. That’s what makes American sports great.
Clemson’s Best Basketball Team Ever?
Clemson is my team, and this is the best Clemson basketball team ever. If they win, it won’t be a Cinderella story—it will be magic in Tiger Town. We’re used to championships in football, but this could be the year we shock the nation in basketball.
Final Four? Or More? I believe Clemson can make a deep run this year. We beat Duke, and if we can do it again, we can win it all.
