Clemson wins!! Is Clemson peaking at the right time? A 25-point lead at halftime and a season high of 54 points at halftime is the way to start! Every possession seemed like a war requiring patience, toughness, relentless defense, and sound execution for 40 minutes.
So it went Saturday as if it were a war, Clemson won it handily, cruising to a 96-71 victory!
The Wolf Pack is a good Basketball team (22-8,12-7 in The ACC) and rarely has been outplayed in a game this season. But Clemson put the Pack on notice early and never let up.
Brevin Galloway led the Tigers with 28 points, PJ Hall had 20 points and Chase Hunter followed with 15 points leading the Tigers to two strong back-to-back, much-needed wins as we inch closer and closer to the postseason. With two games left in the regular season, Clemson travels to play big bad Virginia in Charlottesville, VA at John Paul Jones Arena this Tuesday, February 28th at 7 pm against who might be the toughest team they have played all season.
