Clemson goes back-to-back at NFL Draft:
Last night kicked off the first round of the NFL Draft, and Clemson had some names in the mix with both Myles Murphy and Bryan Bresee going back-to-back late in the first round. Solidifying their role as D-Line U with the most DE/DT drafted to the NFL since 2019, who from Tiger Town can we expect to get that call next?
Kicking us off last night was none other than Myles Murphy who was selected by the Bengals with the 28th pick. The First Team All-ACC defensive end played in all but one game during his time with Clemson, and he plans to carry his success with him to Cincinnati, where he will still be a part of the orange tiger spirit!
Before we could settle down from the excitement of Murphy getting drafted… minutes later the New Orleans Saints selected Bryan Bresee with the 29th overall pick. The 2020 Defensive ROTY was a dual threat combo with Murphy and plans to bring the same energy with Saints defensive end Cameron Jordan.
With two more nights of the NFL Draft left, we hope to see some more Tigers receive that call. The question is who will be next?
